Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention (EIBI)

At Lifespan ABA Inc., we specialize in delivering Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention (EIBI), a research-backed, developmentally sensitive treatment model designed for young children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, typically between the ages of 18 months and 6 years. EIBI is most effective when initiated early and provided at high intensity (typically 15–30 hours per week), making the most of a child’s critical developmental window.
Our EIBI programs are highly individualized and emphasize both structured teaching and naturalistic learning opportunities. Treatment targets foundational skills across communication, social interaction, play, imitation, emotional regulation, early academic readiness, and daily living routines. A blended instructional model is used, integrating Natural Environment Teaching (NET), Discrete Trial Training (DTT), Incidental Teaching, and developmental approaches such as the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) to support each child in a play-based, engaging manner.
Each child’s program is led by a Licensed Analyst and guided by a comprehensive battery of assessment tools that inform goal development and ensure data-driven treatment decisions.
Services are delivered 1:1 by highly trained Behavior Technicians under the close supervision of the BCBA in home, clinic, and community settings. Parents and caregivers are vital partners in the process, receiving regular training and coaching to help extend learning across natural routines and environments.
Our goal through EIBI is to build lasting foundational skills, reduce challenging behavior, and promote readiness for less intensive supports, empowering children to thrive with increased independence across all aspects of life.
